After awarding first prize in an international competition K+P is commissioned to design the first 7-level car parking block with approx. 3,960 parking spaces and 165 motorcycle parking places at Athens International Airport. A State-of-the-Art parking facility which will be characterized by generous space, flexibility, security, clear orientation, a lot of natural light, natural ventilation and smoke exhaust, as well as by the use of renewable energy, i.e. roof top solar energy modules.
The car parking facility P1 with its spiral ramps adds a strong architectural landmark to the airport complex that is visible from far away for orientation.
